Description:The pessary is intended for non-surgical treatment of prolapse and descend of female genital organs. Silicone pessary: Hodge is most often used in case of prolapse of the vaginal walls (stages 2-3 according to POP-Q). The pessary is inserted into the vagina and creates support for the female genital organs.
Silicone pessary: Hodge is a ring manufactured from elastic biologically inert silicone reinforced with a deformable metal element. This allows the product to take any shape depending on the anatomical features of the patient.
The pessary is supplied non-sterile. Before the first and each subsequent use of the pessary, it must be thoroughly treated. The selection of the size and the first insertion of the pessary must be performed by a medical specialist.
