Description:The contraceptive is manufactured using polymeric material and has a T-shaped anchor. Copper wire is wound on the vertical stem of the anchor and a monofilament thread is attached to control the placement and removal of the contraceptive.
The contraceptive anchor is treated with antimicrobial composition containing propolis to reduce the risk of PID during the first 20 days from the moment of insertion.
X-ray and ultrasound contrast are provided by the presence of copper wire on the stem. The method of insertion of IUD “Yunona Bio-T Super” is the method of “withdrawal”, the diameter of the insertion tube is not more than 5 mm.
The contraceptive is supplied sterile in the final packaging, which together with the instructions for use is placed into the secondary packaging.
