Description:Designed to dilate the cervical canal. When exposed to a humid environment, the dilator absorbs moisture and swells increasing its transverse dimensions several times. At the same time, the consistence of the product from dense becomes elastic. The dilation of the cervical canal happens due to the mechanical effect on its walls when the transverse dimensions of the dilator increase. Gradual mechanical action leads to rapid and gentle “ripening” of cervix uteri.
The dilators are dense rods made of synthetic hygroscopic material - polyacrylonitrile hydrogel. A silicone handle is placed at the distal end of the rod. A thread is attached to the handle to control the position of the dilator.
The dilators are supplied in secondary packaging of 5 pcs. of hygroscopic cervical dilators DILASIM 3 mm x 60 mm or hygroscopic cervical dilators DILASIM 4 mm x 60 mm.
